This week Katherine McIntyre visits the blog. She writes M/F pagan and witch romance. Her newest release is SCRYING FOR SUMMER, and she writes stories about sassy women, ragtag crews, and men with bad attitudes. Today I asked Katherine what attracted her to witches.
BBTF: You write about witches. What attracted you to them and what have you learned in your research of them?
Katherine: I've always been super into herbology from an early age, and during my high school and college years, I dabbled in Wicca. So a lot of what attracted me to witches was what I'd studied with Wicca and Pagan religions, but in writing about them, it's allowed me to read into a lot of the rituals for spell-crafting, which are quite intricate! As a tea blender, I loved the idea of using herbal blends in with the magic, so in Hunting for Spring and Scrying for Summer, a lot of the witches get quite creative with sachets and weapons.
